Their hugely popular kraut flavor, Eastern European, was given the prize in the pickled foods category. Congratulations to all of the hard-working different folks who grow the organic produce, make and locally distribute the fermented deliciousness that is OlyKraut, the best tasting and most addictive sauerkraut that I have ever had the pleasure of eating.


Vagina News: Washington Parent Equates Sex Education with Rape

Vaginas have been in the news lately. Last week Michigan's elected Representative Lisa Brown was forbidden from speaking after using the word "vagina" during a political debate on abortion. In western Washington a handful of parents also started freaking out when an elementary school principal answered a student question about sex during a class on sexually transmitted diseases. One of the enraged parents, James Gilliand, said that sex education is "...just the same as raping somebody"
