You Don’t Have to Pay for an Emergency Disaster Kit

4. Seeking Shelter

Even a tent provides a homey space.

When hurricane evacuations and other weather disasters force you from home, a simple pop-up tent provides an excellent shelter solution where ever your trip ends. For regular campers, this staple gear is usually an arm’s reach away while others may find comfort in simply owning one. Even a car provides a home away from home if needed. It’s all about creating a place to set yourself away from the elements, even if it’s only a fabric barrier.
