San Francisco Celebrates Its Victorious Freaks

The city of San Francisco was an exuberant sea of orange and black as local residents celebrated the World Series victory of their home town baseball team. Last night, just as we entered our downtown BART station, our driver announced that the Giants had finally won the pennant, eliciting gleeful whoops and cheers of delight from all the train’s passengers. A few people even launched into a spontaneous off-key rendition of “I Left My Heart in San Francisco”.
