The 2010 Chicago Green Festival is gearing up to deliver one of the most inspiring and motivating environmental gatherings of the year. Global Exchange and Green America are teaming up to feature more than 350 local and national green businesses, along with more than 150 notable speakers.
Green City, Green Nation
The Chicago Green Festival is a celebration of the environmental initiatives that have been working in the city and the nation. Panel discussions and presentations are scheduled to address topics from green roofs to organic beer. The 2010 Green Festival will also showcase helpful how-to workshops, a green careers fair, a Fair Trade pavilion and tasty organic treats including beer, wine and food. And let’s not forget about awesome local music. Chicago blues, brass and bluegrass!
Other cities in the Midwest will also be featured at the Chicago event, along with a diverse array of community nonprofit organizations and city departments that are joining forces to makes the Midwest a healthy, sustainable place to live and work.
