I lived and worked in the Maldives in the mid 90's. A truely wonderful and beautiful place with peoples whose company and culture I learned to appreciate and enjoy. I would go back there tomorrow if I only could.
To see these Island and Atolls disappear beneath the waves will be crime for which only self seeking industrialists and politicians will be responsible.
