needless to say the slaughter of whales by certain countries must be abated, however if Icelanders use whale meat as a primary food source and a source of clothing, the country itself should police it's own quotas , particularly on any endangered species! MK

TO ICELANDER
AND TO Bjarnhéðinn
and to Sveto
Perhaps on your death bed one day...you will finally realise..but even that is hopeful. You better hope you do realise..because some cultures speak of Kharma..and wouldnt it be funny if you all came back as fin whales...to be hunted, torchered and chopped up by your own people. You are unconcious, your minds are closed, like most people you have been taught what to think. Yes in nature, animals kill each other..but that is nessecity and purely for survival.AAAHH I can just hear it...now you say your people are hungry and they need to eat whale meat...and I say that is bull shit and you know it...Any ways im not going to waste my time arguing with you either..because lets face it,nobody is going to get into your thick skulls right now, I will however leave you with this..Everything is connected, whatever you do to the planet the ocean the grand magestic whales...you do to yourself.
God help us all.

These whales belong to no one; no culture, no people. They are not ours to take. Period.

To the proud Icelander. Your children and grand children are never going to forgive you. After you have killed all the whales you will find you cannot eat money.

Thank you all for your comments.

Fin whales are indeed considered an Endangered species according to the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN) Red List of Threatened Species. Please visit the link, or other links, posted in the article for further information.

Thanks!
