IT IS GOOD TO HEAR THAT GRANDMA OBAMA HAS SOLAR
ENERGY NOW….
HOWEVER–I’M SURE SHE COULD USE HER GOOD INFLUENCE
TO SEE THAT MORE IS DONE TO HELP KENYANS !
THERE ARE MANY2 KENYANS SUFFERING IN THE DARK OUT
THERE EVERYNITE….
AND…FOR SURE–KIBAKI & ODINGA ARE HAVING A GREAT
LIFE !!!

I would like to start a green energy project in the University that I work in. Africa Nazarene University. Nairobi Kenya. My intentions are to cut on power costs that the university accumulates not forgetting the extra costs incurred by running our diesel generators. Much of this costs are pushed to the students and I would like to help lower the cost of tuition at the school. Anyone with suggestions, please contact me at eonyango@anu.ac.ke. or info@anu.ac.ke. Not one penny should leave this country while we
are in financial difficulty.
Why would Obama’s grandmom get solar panels at her
age….All they want to give me is a PINK pill and
tell me to get my last weeks in order….

I have a daughter in a wheelchair. We do not have
central air conditioning! With the way our country
is today – WE DON’T HAVE A LOT!

I built the first solar panel in Kenya on a visit I made to Nairobi more than 20 years ago. At that time, my company, ARCO Solar attended a conference in Nairobi and we displayed a solar panel. At the same time the Canadians built a clinic building in the edge of the city so some doctors from Kansas could examine Somali refugees who lived in huts nearby. Our company, was able to install and leave the solar array, battery and inverter on the adobe clinic to provide lights for the exam room. It’s good to see that somone else is following on the idea.

The upkeep for a solar system is very minimal. It includes making sure there isn’t a large amount of debris on the panels themselves. There are no moving parts and no liquid. Just nice, quiet, efficient panels keeping the roof and the building cooler!
Just wanted to clarify the statement which may be misinterpreted.
