    so glad folks have encouraged the survival of this parrot, all creatures are special with origins going back to day one.

    having dogs and looking back at breedings and outcomes over the years it seems that specimens saved early on having conditions that would not have permitted survival without human intervention, should not be used in breeding programs. what weaknesses their genetics predispose them to will only weaken what remains of the others hastening the demise of the rest.

    let them go to zoos or homes, but dont breed them.
