Isabella Rossellini stars in several videos on the SunDance Channel website. She wears animal costumes and acts out animal reproduction. In one she has a male whale costume on and mates with a female whale. The point of the videos is clearly educational and they not at all like pornograhy, though they are about animal sex. The SunDance site states the content is scientifically accurate.
In one she is a male bee that mates with a female bee and loses its’ penis when it breaks off during the reprodutive act. The male bee dies.
The last time I saw her it was in Blue Velvet, and these green videos actually have a Lynchian quality to them, though they do not appear to have had any input from Lynch.
One of them is about the hand-in-glove fit of respective reproductive organs, by animal type. The segment is actually about different penises and vaginas in the animal world.
Not surprisingly she pulls off these wacky, and original videos without offending, even though at first glance, it would appear to be exactly the kind of content that would make some people squeamish, and even outrage more conservative types. Somehow it works. It is lively and educational without being irritating or base.
