This is an incredible story of courage and perseverence. I am reminded of a similar challenge taken on by Mr. Pete Seiger on the Hudson River system in the eastern U.S.A. After years of pressing and working with local officials and engaging with other community members, the river was rescued from a condition of near death from overuse and pollution. Thanks for passing this story on.
