It seems like this colony is a bit more significant than you give it credit - there are around 3 million Lesser Flamingos in the world but this is one of only four breeding places in Africa. Some of the others are, as you say, threatened and apparently flamingos only breed in Etosha every 9 years so any breedng is signifcant.</description>

&amp; - drought &amp; death of water habitats we see now : all this loss of natural water is intentional , from perverse man making his las vegas evils on the water areas ;  if this had not happened , there would be waterfalls , lakes &amp; many ganges rivers everywhere by now on the planet.</description>
