		<description>I have moss that grows in my lawn smack out in the middle of the sun all day, heh.  For most of us in the Pacific Northwest, growing moss is probably easier than grass anyway.  

It&#039;s probably worth mentioning the obvious here, that moss isn&#039;t going to thrive in a lot of climates.  I&#039;m guessing that it prefers acidic soil as well, since it grows well here, though I seem to remember reading that it doesn&#039;t put down roots and thrives simply on moisture and air, so maybe the soil isn&#039;t all that important.  It grows on trees too after all. :P</description>
