I have to admit to experiening a real knee-jerk, emotional reaction to the picture of three baby hedgehogs in the palm of a human hand. I immediately saw Beatrix Potter's "Mrs. Tiggywinkle". The British have traditionally responded well to the plight of animals, especially those critters deemed part of their collective history. Perhaps it is time develop some targetted marketing to create a successful appeal to enhance the efforts to save these, and by extention, other helpless critters in these areas.
