How Will the Elections Influence Environmental Policy?

If you’re like me, you’re pretty much thinking of only two things right now: the elections and what-the-heck-am-I-going-to-be-for-Halloween? Undoubtedly, the two great issues of our time. While I can’t help you with the latter, if you’re here in Los Angeles, you might be interested in a post-election discussion of the impact of the elections on environmental policy.

Presented by the California League of Conservation Voters, the November 6th event brings together a panel of environmental and civic leaders to discuss where we’re headed.

Speakers include:

  • Andy Lipkis, President of Tree People
  • Jonathan Parfrey, Director of Green Los Angeles
  • Mike Feuer, California State Assembly
  • John Chiang, California State Controller
  • Sheila Kuehl, California State Senator
  • Ted Lieu, California State Assembly

The event is free, but you must RSVP by November 4th to attend. It will be held at The Milken Institute in Santa Monica.
