I just want to clarify something from the article about Bachelet's environmental accomplishments. The article talks about a controversial plan to build five dams in Chilean Patagonia. That's true. The plan, devised by energy companies Endesa and Colbun, calls for two dams on the Baker River (Chile's largest) and three on the Pascua. Both rivers are in Region XI, an area also known as Aysen. Neither of those rivers, however, have anything to do with Puyehue National Park, which is located farther north in Region X. There is a plan afoot to build run-of-the-river (i.e. small scale) dams in Puyehue, though it has nothing to do with the Patagonia venture.
