The title of this article is ridiculously misleading. I thought it was about a single man who had over 1,000 diseases, which were contracted through eating gorilla meat.

Also, nutria are dirty, filthy animals who deserve to die. Their meat is probably diseased. But uh, yeah have fun random guy, promoting rodent meat.

I have contacted several people and agencies about the more than 400,000 nutria which are killed each year in Louisiana for the $5 bounty on the tail. These animals have high quality meat which is usually thrown away. I would like to continue to suggest that an attempt be made to utilize this wasted meat to replace the bushmeat which is harvested in various countries. Is there anyone whom you can suggest who might be willing to investigate this further.

Excellent article! Very informative without resorting to the scare tactics we see so often. As the world grows in population, and consequently shrinks in resources we must pay even closer attention to our actions.

Its quite exciting to see your blog. Recently from a site I came to know that with massive population increases forecast, the average daily global meat intake of 100g per person would have to fall to 90g just to stabilise the present rate of greenhouse gas emissions. Meat consumption varies greatly across nations. But I think good diet is suggestible but not more than what the body needed.
