your delusional or what?? Surely the games being hosted in our country is a pride bearing concept- ‘BUT AT WHAT COST’ is what the above essay is saying- READ and then WRITE> and incase you havent noticed- the Yamuna is supposedly a revered, honoured and worshipped river and its dying, that just says alot bout our country and to top it all- we killing it by placing this village on its banks. BUT I TELL YOU- NATURE HAS ITS WAYS. IT HAS ITS WAYS OF PAYING BACKIf people think commonwealth games will be a threat to the environment, especially riven yamuna then it needs to be understood firstly that before the games also the situation is worst for the river, as its full of chemicals and its not safe for human usage. The things cannot get worst than it is in the present state. The only solution to this is commonwealth games, due to which the international presurre may be put on them which may make goverment some serious steps to find a solution to it. Without games, then dont acpect anything new

i have to just say that common wealth games ,all together taken in concern, are really bringing development ,though it is indirectly.earlier people never bothered about the environment ,but for the prestige of their country they are atleast bringing their hands forward for the improvement of their country..

Nice Blog post! I 100% agree with your concern that we all are turning a blind eye to the Green cover of Delhi in our bid to concretize Delhi.

Hopefully the future governments will take appropriate action!
Yamuna is the worst river, I have ever seen, with black tar for water.

i like the article above but i dont fully agree with him..as the greenery of the city has improved alot just bacause of the upcoming commonwealth games n river yamuna is already in its worst condition due to industrial wastes n chemicals the only solution to dis situation is commonwealth games dat will pressurize the govt for taking effective steps towards it.....
