I would like to know what you think about the filter jugs like Britta and Liaca and what standards these or similar produducts would have to pass to be sold in Italy. Is there and EU standard? Here in the UK these products are common place and there have been some tests that bacteria can grow on the filters, not a lot but the filter is open to misuse by the public - if filters are left withoug being changed for too long the levels of bacteria contamination may become significant.
