While everyone's agreed on the global food crisis, I appreciate reader comments that may offer an insight on tackling this issue, because every world nation is affected one way or the other. Population growth has been cited as one of the contributing factors to the food crunch, but modern science (biofuels) is being blamed too, among others. See: Hunger: Myths and Realities of the Rehydration Project.

To lace human food with birth control drugs because food shelves are running dry or food is costlier and unaffordable for the world's poor is the most evil thing I've ever read on a green blog comment post.

I wonder if the president of the United States would stay at White House a day longer if it emerged the US population was feeding on laced food.

By the way, where would this laced wheat be destined for? Africa? South East Asia? Latin America?

I agree with Uncle B. Put some birth control in that wheat. Do something. There's too many people. Babies are bad for the environment anyway.
