I think the issue of safety of the chemicals deployed in pest control is a serious issue.I have been into the business OF FUMIGATION for well over 3years.However,i got a appreciable quantity of job to cope with in recent tme .The main constituent of the chemical used is DDVP,basically for home fumigation.Ihave developed blurred vision, general tiredness and constant cough which is accompanied with salivary discharge.I hope this would subside over time ,i would appreciate it if you can advice on what step to take in minimising or erradicating the effects of this chemical use.
Thanks.

Nice article Jason. Speaking of resources, don't forget about the National Pesticide Information Center, which is an EPA-funded hotline for pesticide safety questions: 1-800-858-PEST (7378). The can provide technical information as well as ways to minimize the risk of using a particular product, and other resources.
