I agree, it’s hard — in my opinion — for any player in the bottled water market to lay a legitimate claim to being green. The environmental costs are just too great.

Then, again, I also find it mind-boggling that we find it necessary at all to have such products as “fitness” and “nutrient” waters. Isn’t a green, balanced and healthful diet the best way to get the nutrients we need, and doesn’t plain old tap water quench a thirst just as well (and less expensively)?

Do these folks bottle water… just wondering? There’s clearly an effort in this industry to “green” its image… though that’s, at the very least, a problematic proposition…
